When Arnold and Betty Watson compiled their alphabetical list of the Titanic crew in 1974 it seemed the final word on the subject.
This new edition reflects ten years of additional knowledge as to exactly who served on the last liner, what they did, where they lived, and what became of them.
Besides being an indispensable reference tool, the list is a fascinating social document It tells us so much about the Titanic and her era, especially the enormous complexity of the great liners of the period.
The list also drives home once again the heroic sacrifice made by the Titanic crew.
