They've been called the Romeo and Juliet of the Titanic.

April, 1912. Mary Mullin, also known as Finna, is about to finish her senior year at Loretto Convent School for Girls, a boarding school in Dublin. But instead of returning home to County Galway, Finna decides she wants to run away from her wealthy, yet abusive, family. She enlists the help of Denis Lennon, a young employee who has become her only friend at home. As they make plans to run away together, Denis Lennon, known by his Irish name Donnacha, becomes more than a friend.

Together, they board the Titanic in Queenstown as third-class passengers, traveling under fake names. Joe, Finna's oldest brother, chased them all the way to the docks with a gun. Four nights later, the ship hits an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Finna and Donnacha, along with the other Irish passengers they met on the way, will meet fate in ways they never imagined.
